I recently changed the silhouette of my sweatpants from being different M/F designs with tapered legs to the new unisex wide leg sweatpants. I chose this not only because it makes the brand more inclusive for all people, but it streamlines the product line. I feel that sometimes offering too many options can be overwhelming for customers even in an online marketplace.
the new sweatpants are digitally printed with my pattern designs to create unique easy to wear bright clothing that is warm and durable. These are made with recycled polyester and spandex blend- it's a really soft knit material.
Some think it's unbelievable that sweatpants are still so popular, it seems the only variable that's changing its the fit and silhouette of the pant. from almost tight and tapered to flared to straight leg to extra wide. trends between generations and different demographics have also been reported and studied.
The result of doing this deeper reflection of my child self and my former self is that my ideas have returned. The new writings & connected projects of these illustrated novels, stories, myths, and legends are coming to be quickly. I don't like any of the media that I am being presented. I wanted to create a new place for the viewer to go, maybe inside their minds, to immerse themselves in a world where evil doesn't prevail. A break from the screens.
This list is thoughtfully compiled for mindset shifts, therapeutic healing in sobriety, and recovering from trauma. I recommend these books in addition to The Bible and the big book of Alcoholics Anonymous for healing oneself, taking control of your own life, and rising to meet your potential.
I've spent a lot of time on the road in the last 7 years, driving from Chicago to Milwaukee to Madison in every configuration possible. I took control of my own healing because when I began on this journey I didn't have healthcare, medicine, or access to therapy like I do now. I had to change and learn coping mechanisms. Including reaching out & getting involved in a sober community, real friends, and reconnecting with family members.
