Reading/ Listening List for Healing and Recovery
This list is thoughtfully compiled for mindset shifts, therapeutic healing in sobriety, and recovering from trauma. I recommend these books in addition to The Bible and the big book of Alcoholics Anonomous for healing oneself, taking control of your own life, and rising to meet your potential.
I've spent a lot of time on the road in the last 7 years, driving from chicago to milwaukee to madison in every configuration possible. I took control of my own healing because when I began on this journey I didnt have healthcare, medicine, or access to therapy like I do now. I had to change and learn coping mechanisms. Including reaching out & getting involved in a sober community, real friends, and reconnecting with family members.
